Photo Journalism Part 1.

Henri Cartier-Bresson

A french photographer who was widely recognised for his pictures that captured decisive moment. He was very dedicated to his work and would spend alot of time trying to get the perfect picture. Although he was a photographer he would consider himself a painter due to the artistic and surrealism of his work. He was also one of the first photographers to a Leica camera.

Decisive Moment

A decisive moment is when you take the perfect picture of a moment which shows the expression of what the picture is. The most famous of these was by Henri Cartier Bresson called Behind The Gare St. Lazare:



















Leica Camera

Leica is a german brand of cameras that revolutionised and brought a new style to photography in the early 20th centuary which were released in 1913. They were most famously used by Henri Cartier Bresson which helped him perfect the Decisive Moment.
