Treatment Photography
1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:
In Solitude: I am going to take pictures in the memorial gardens and show the solitude of the surroundings such as; trees, birds, benches etc.
2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project?
Camera, Mac, Battery Pack and the memorial gardens.
3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use?
It wouldn’t cost anything.
4. Contributors: Whom do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.

6. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc.

Thomas Hoepker
Born in 1936 Thomas first started taking pictures at the age of 16 and after his Grandfather gave him his first camera (an old 9x12 glass plate camera) he decided that he wanted to perssue a career in photography. In 1960 he started working for Munchner Illustrietre and Kristall which he did for 3 years. After that he joined Stern Magazine as a photo-reporter in 1964.

- Worked for Life magazine
- Found war romantic
- Was the only journalist to go along with the first wave of troops on D-Day
- After the war he took pictures on the set of Alfred Hitchcock's film "Notorious"
- Soldier/Photographer
- Took pictures during World War 2
- Used Speed Graphic and Argus C3
- Did not find war romantic like Cappa did
- Could get better pictures than Cappa
- Risked his life to get pictures
- Developed his pictures on the battlefield by using soldier's helmets
- After the war he took pictures of the rebuilding of Germany
- Took the famous picture " The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death"
Eddie Adams
- Took one of the most famous pictures during the Vietnam war of someone being executed called "The Execution"
- The photo was taken when the bullet hit the mans head
- Eddie did not know the man was going to be shot and thought he was only going to be threatened
- "The Execution changed America's perspective on the Vietnam war
